Passed away in his 74th year at the General Hospital on Wednesday, September 13, 2006.
Beloved husband of Najat Hindi (nee Chibani).
Dear father of Claude (Mario Ashkar) of Lebanon, Diane (Salam Tomie) of Paris France, Fadia (the late Carmine Canonico) of Greely, Ontario, Najib (Fadia Jreige) of Ottawa, Ontario and Joe (Cynthia Aho) of Montreal, Quebec.
Dear grandfather of Danielle, Elianne, Elise, Marc-Elie, Bruno, Maya, Alex and Elinda.
Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway on Friday, September 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Melkite Church, 1161 North River Road on Saturday, September 16 at 11:30 a.m.
Interment Beechwood Cemetery.

Passed away suddenly Thursday February 17, 2011 at the age of 88, surrounded by his loving family in Lebanon.
Beloved Husband of Bahia Oujeil Hobeika.
Loving Father of Jamal (George Sawma), Jamil, Issam (Hanan Dib), Jeannette (Atef Najem), Kamel (Nawal El-hajj), Pierre (Valo El-Aile), Marwarn, Nawal (George Berchan) and the late Dr.Ziki.
Cherished by his 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren who will dearly miss their beloved "Jiddo".
