Passed away peacefully at his home in Ottawa Sunday April 25, 2010. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, August 20, 1937 to Aref and Khadijah Balaa, Omar came to Canada in 1972 where he established his family business, City Locksmith. Dear husband of Hoda.Loving father of Hicham, Haissam and Nasser. Beloved brother of Muheiddine, Adel, Dr. Kamal and Samir. Dear brother in law of Kheireddine Bleik and Mokhtar Houssari. Prayer at the Ottawa Main Mosque at Zuhr on Monday April 26, 2010 at 1 pm, followed by burial at Carp cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Ottawa Main Mosque, 251 Northwestern Avenue

Adnan "Eddy" Estephan

Passed away peacefully, Friday, October 23, 2009 at age 66, after living a full and rewarding life.
Survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Afaf "Faye" and his children; Ibrahim, Gilbert (Joel), Patricia (Gregg) and Bernard (Nancy).
Loved and adored grandfather (Jido) to Myranda, Alexander, Sabrina and Angelo.
He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Lisette (Elia), Odette (Karam), Julie (Tanios); his brothers Joseph (Georgette) and Stephan (Helene); his many cousins, nieces and nephews and his friends.
Adnan brought joy to everyone he met, and we will always remember him as a strong, determined, vibrant, generous and most of all as a loving and kind man.
